Clarence Reyes is our second associate to join Pokala Law APC. While he specializes in business formation, contract drafting, business advisory, and tax law, Mr. Reyes has also acquired a broad range of experience in civil litigation, employment law, and trademark law.

Mr. Reyes also holds an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and is registered to practice before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as an Enrolled Agent (EA). Before joining Pokala Law APC as a law clerk, Mr. Reyes worked in the accounting industry, where he most recently managed his family’s accounting practice assisting clients on a wide variety of accounting and tax functions. For example, Mr. Reyes advocated for his clients in matters before the IRS, the Franchise Tax Board (FTB), the Employment Development Department (EDD), and the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA).

Mr. Reyes received his J.D. at the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, assisting low-income clients in matters involving federal tax, housing, and immigration.

Mr. Reyes also holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of San Diego, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Mr. Reyes is licensed to practice before all state courts in the State of California, the state of New Jersey, the United States District Court (Southern District of California), and the United States Tax Court.

In addition to the practice of law, Clarence is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf and softball, where he participates in various leagues and tournaments around San Diego County.
