Starting first as a law clerk, Matthew Zarley is proud to be our first associate at Pokala Law APC. While specializing in trademark law, Matthew has also acquired a broad range of experience in business formation, contract drafting, employment law, and civil litigation.

Originally an actor/producer by trade, Matthew capitalizes on this training to master the art of forming a persuasive, cohesive argument. He is no stranger to public speaking, and is always ready to advocate for his client’s best interests.

Matthew received his J.D. at the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he spent time volunteering for various nonprofits, including the San Diego Legal Aid Society’s Clean Slate clinic, Unlawful Detainer clinic, and USD’s Entrepreneurship Clinic. Tying into his stunts and martial arts background, Matthew also volunteered for the Fight Sports Attorneys prior to his arrival at Pokala Law APC.

Matthew also holds a B.A. from Temple University, where he graduated cum laude.

Matthew is licensed to practice before all state courts in California, and the United States District Court (Southern District of California and Central District of California).
