Danielle Pompeo is a San Diego native and lover of all things food, animals, music, family, and friends, or better yet- a combination of all five. Danielle attended high school in North County, community college at Mira Costa College, and attended Belmont University, in Nashville, Tennessee, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis on the music business.

Danielle then spent several years working at various restaurants in town, and eventually attended the University of San Diego, School of Law. While at USD, Danielle served as the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, an Academic Success Director for the First-Generation Legal Professionals, and the Vice President of the Client Advocacy Team.

In 2021, Danielle and her teammate were the Regional Champions of the Client Advocacy Tournament. Also in 2021, Danielle earned the Cali Excellence for the Future Award in Animal Law for her research on commercial fishing laws. Danielle earned her J.D. from USD and was admitted to practice law in the State of California in 2022. 

 Also in 2022, Danielle was admitted to the Order of Barristers, an organization honoring law students and practicing lawyers who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.

Danielle has been recognized for her Pro Bono dedication and received the Pro Bono Service Recognition Award.

Prior to attending law school, Danielle was a singer, with notable performances including Distinguished Concerts International New York at Carnegie Hall with Eric Whitacre in 2012 and Deke Sharon in 2013. Danielle earned an Outstanding Musicianship award from the Reno Jazz Festival and a Leadership Award from the California State Summer School for the Arts. 

Danielle joins Pokala Law APC as their third associate attorney, after several years as a Law Clerk.
